CASE 21 – Thoughts on my seminar
Posted: May 6th, 2009 | Author: Kornelije Sajler | Filed under: Empty words | Tags: CASE21 | No Comments »These days I’m arranging thoughts for seminar for CASE 21. The seminar last for about four hours so I have time to do some complex things.
My thoughts for this seminar is essentially on Agile Development and setting all necessary surroundings for Agile Development.
Including:
- TDD – In doubt of using NUnit 2.5 or xUnit 1.1,
- Continuous Integration (CI) – Abandoning CruiseControl an I’ll give a try to JetBrains TeamCity,
- Agile Project Management – TargetProcess Community Edition,
- Version Control or SCM – Subversion by VisualSVN or if I would be crazy enough to setup a Git with msysGit,
- ORM – The one and only NHibernate with his Fluent NHibernate,
- DDD – some concepts explained,
- MVC and MVVM – ASP.NET MVC
- BDD ? – with SpecUnit.NET which using xUnit testing framework so NUnit is out definitely,
- Framework Guidelines like Naming Conventions and Commenting code for API documentation,
- and maybe Uncle Bob’s (Robert C. Martin) S.O.L.I.D principles.
I think that would be mostly all, don’t know yet how to name a seminar, maybe “Agile Software Development in .NET” or something like in this lines.
And now, I see that I have to register work to seminar till 17.04.2009. Now I have to send email to see if they will take me.
